אני קורא לתנועת השלום ישראלית להשמיע קול חזק וברור נגד המלחמה המתפשטת. מלחמת לבנון השנייה תהיה אסון כמו מלחמת לבנון הראשונה. חשוב להימנע מכניסה לבוץ הלבנוני במאבק ציבורי בדרישה להפסקת המלחמה ולחזרה לתהליך מדיני.

The demonstration started at 19:15 and lasted until 20:00, when the participants joined a cultural event at the Al-Midan Theatre, whose proceeds were dedicated to a fundraising campaign for medical supplies for a hospital in besieged Gaza. Haifa was hit by two rockets while this demonstration took place. I could hear the two consecutive explosions.
